"The less reactive you are, the more magnetic you become."
Internal reactivity included. Eye-rolling drains your magnetism, even if nobody sees it but you. Road rage of any kind - internally or externally expressed - same. Even when someone else is talking to you and you're already formulating a response, that's a reaction too. It means you're not listening, and it decreases your magnetism.
Feel the reactions coming. Watch them like a train passing through a field. When you can manage to press the pause button on even one of your reactions, you'll sense the magnetism as increased clarity and sweetness in your face (I promise) - as well as true compassion welling up inside you for the formerly reactive you who would've pounced. And compassion for the reactive folks close to you who can no longer shake your foundation.

The Sun is Shining Down, JJ Grey & Mofro
How many more days can you hold out,
How much longer can you wait?" she asked. There was a time I thought I, I could answer But my tongue gets tied as my thoughts drift away. Glory, Glory - Hallelujah The sun is shining, shining down Glory, Glory - Hallelujah I'm alive and I'm feeling, feeling fine All those simple thoughts all those peaceful dreams, Share the space with a hard worked, hard worked day But it's the little things, the little things not expectation That make life worth living, worth living. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=344u6uK9qeQ |

Some say love is a burning thing
That it makes a fiery ring Oh but I know love as a fading thing Just as fickle as a feather in a stream See, honey, I saw love, You see it came to me It puts its face up to my face so I could see Yeah then I saw love disfigure me Into something I am not recognizing See the cage, it called. I said, come on in I will not open myself up this way again Nor lay my face to the soil, nor my teeth to the sand I will not lay like this for days now upon end You will not see me fall, nor see me struggle to stand To be acknowledged by some touch from his gnarled hands You see the cage it called. I said, come on in I will not open myself this way again. You see the moon is bright in that treetop night I see the shadows that we cast in the cold clean light I might fear I go and my heart is white And we race right out on the desert plains all night So honey I am now, some broken thing I do not lay in the dark waiting for day here Now my heart is gold, my feet are right And I'm racing out on the desert plains all night... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPxQYhGpdvg |
